Hola ! It has been few days since I wrote Something in here because I was really busy with sea stars and sea urchins :-) Yes, finally, what we came for started! We already went three times in the sea to dive and take samples for our study. We would like to understand how fluctuating environments and hard conditions (higher temperature, lower pH, metal contaminations) impact echinoderms, and more specifically sea stars (Odontaster validus), sea urchins (Sterechinus neumayeri) and brittle stars (Ophionotus victoriae). Deception Island is a full-scale laboratory for that.
