On the 25th , 26th and 27th of February we went in three different sites to take samples so after the dive, the job only began.



We had to store the animals in distinct aquarium with controlled parameters of seawater. Then, Philippe and I were measuring a lot of stuff from those animals for almost all nights long.




In the wet lab, the mean air temperature was around 2.5°C so we were really freezing at the end of the day. I was wearing 3 trousers, 4 sweaters and gloves, 3 pairs of socks but after some time you just don’t feel anything. The worse is when you go back inside at normal temperature and you feel your body reheating. It is not a great sensation at all… I felt fire in my hands. It was really interesting but at some point, you realize that maybe it is not good for you to have this sensation every day…
