Welcome in Punta Arenas 😁

Searching for a good presentation of this city, this is what I found on Lonely Planet site:

"Punta Arenas: A sprawling metropolis on the edge of the Strait of Magellan, Punta Arenas defies easy definition. It's a strange combination of the ruddy and the grand, with elaborate wool-boom mansions and port renovations alongside urban sprawl. Set at the bottom of the Americas, it is downright stingy with good weather – the sun shines through sidelong rain. "

When we arrived there, I really couldn't define it... Small city near the sea and with low buildings. The sky was so blue and the sun was shining ! But unfortunatelly, it's grey with all those buildings and Streets :( I defintely prefere nature!

Here, this is the square in the city center: Plaza de Armas

The tradition wants us to touch the foot of the Indian in order to come back in Punta Areans one day...
