Day 2 in Deception Island

Hello! I finally have some good internet connexion to write and publish what happenend last days. I tried to write as much as I could when I was on the boat, I also have videos and pictures but unfortunately, the internet connection is not good as everywhere (hopefuly?). So I am not able to publish the pictures yet. I tried to download them and to rank them so it will be easier later to relate them to the right post.

Actualy, I am really (positively) surprise about the excellent connection we can have with the rest of the world, we have wifi everywhere (in the lab, they called it 'Mordor' ;) and on the beach also (Californiabeach)), we have a phone so the spanish can join their relatives for free but unfortunately it is not for international calls.

The base is quite confortable, we have a bed in a 4-persons dormitory and we have shared bathroom that are pretty big and well organized, we have washing machines and they provide us the product to wash and clean (because they have to be ecological). The place to live and eat is big, we have a babyfoot (I'm alreadgetting beter at it!) and the view of the island from the base is amazing!

Moreover the weather conditions are good, well there are beter than in Belgium!

The lab is OK, it's small and cold but we manage to improve it to be the best place of the base :)
