Leaving Deception Island

On the 10th of March we left Deception Island, and as when we came there, it was already night when we left. Last time to wear a Viking and going on the Zodiac.

While waiting for the Zodiac to bring us to the Hesperides to go to Ushuaia, we saw the disembarkation of food and fuel for the base for the next two weeks. The strength of the militaries was really impressive! Everybody was working like a superhero in those really hard conditions.

When we were on the Zodiac I was looking at the sky which was clear and offered us to see the Milky way again. It was kind of magical...

Once in the ship Hesperides, we drink one last cup of Champagne to celebrate our successful mission and colaboration with the scientists of the base and we went to sleep...

I didn't know it will be my only good night on that ship for the next few days. I had horrible seasick, the movement of the boat ws about 15° and I could laying in my bed because of that. It has been really difficult because I couldn't sleep nor watch a movie nor work during those days. That's why you had almost no new of those days ^^ I prefer to forget these episode...
