Bluebio excursion - team building!

It is the day before we leave the island and the militaries accepted to make a "touristic tour" of the island for our team.

First we went to Ballaneros - a protected site with whaler's station boilers. Because human activity at Deception began in the early twentieth century. In 1904, an active whaling industry was established at South Georgia, taking advantage of new technology and an almost untouched population of whales to make rapid profits.

Of course, there were a lot of fur seals :)

I even saw a Weddel seal:

Then we went to another bay to sea more seals and it was really impressive!
