While we were in Antarctica, another team of our lab was also attempting to join Antarctica on a .. SAILING SHIP ! - I already have seasick just to imagine that -

Their ambitious adventure was to go through the Antarctic Peninsula in order to scale diverses marine communities and understand some more about the mbiology of this beautiful and barely known part of the World. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it because of technical problems :'( We were all so sad when we learned this terrible new! Fortunately, all our labmates and people on the ship were safe and sound and back in Ushuaïa.We didn't met them on the other side of the world, but we had the chance to see their ship and the team of the ship while we were in Ushuaïa.
